SharePoint is a hot topic for many intranet managers and web professionals these days. A growing number of organizations are actively using it, others are considering an implementation or are in the process of migrating to the latest version.
At the J. Boye conference in Aarhus, Denmark, from 8 to 10 November, web and intranet professionals with hands-on SharePoint experience will present and discuss various case studies. A few examples:
- Edwin Mac Gillavry and Michiel Hazen will present how the Public Prosecution Office of the Netherlands is using SharePoint applications for knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Danske Bank is a major user of SharePoint technology, especially for its external websites. Web manager Henrik Sørensen will talk about his latest achievements, but will also address challenges of security and governance.
- Dan Lewis from the Judge Group will share an interesting mobile intranet story, which includes why they decided against SharePoint.
- And don’t miss the many SharePoint industry experts that will be attending the conference, including higher education consultant Bob Johnson, CMS evangelist and expert Thom Robbins and of course Martin White, one of the world’s leading authorities on all aspects of intranet and information management.
You can also check out some recent SharePoint-related postings, to get a flavour for what will be discussed at the conference.
