Paint with your mobile: Mobile marketing options and consequences
Within the next couple of years more people will access the Internet from mobile devices than from PC’s. The very important shift from focus on content to focus on context, affects our online marketing options and increase our possibilities for reaching out to the consumers, for entering into a relevant dialogue and for creating loyalty. As part of Dyrup’s online marketing strategy, we have been developing both mobile applications, mobile websites and mobile campaigns.
As one of the first companies in Denmark in our business we started to use 2D barcodes on our products and in campaigns in 2010, and now we have entered the “world of videos” optimizing for both mobile and traditional Internet. All this is virgin ground in our business, and in Dyrup we believe in learning by doing – it is an ongoing process, and we have learned a lot – some of which I will share in the presentation.
