A good business case is the foundation for success of a any web or intranet project.  If we can get the business case right, we will start out with a clear and realistic vision for what we’re trying to do; we’ll have support from key stakeholders; and we’ll have strong justification for the resources that we need. However, writing a business case is hard.

For example, organisations often demand far more information than we actually have at the start of a project.  And many people focus too heavily on making the numbers add up in order to win approval, overlooking the value of a business case in setting a clear strategic vision. This workshop will look at the content of a business case and discuss ways to address some of the problems of writing one.
